Not yet, they were just getting ready to move. But it is also possible that Belle will eventually move elsewhere and Atlanta will receive more elephants from elsewhere.

Following Robin's death, Belle will be transferred to the Milwaukee County Zoo rather then Zoo Atlanta, giving MCZ's population 0.3.

Atlanta nor Riverbanks never stated in public domain that Riverbanks was transferring their elephants to Atlanta. I am not sure if it was confirmed by someone here with inside sources or just speculation. I always say, until the animal arrives on the dirt of the of zoo it is supposed to transfer to, nothing is final!

Milwaukee County Zoo is better for Belle. She and Robin were supposed to expand an elephant group in Atlanta, but because Robin died, she moved to Milwaukee, where they finally found a third elephant. Maybe some breeding cows will also move to Atlanta in the future, but this is only speculation.

0.1 Thandi was transferred from Pittsburgh Zoo's International Conservation Center to Granby Zoo at an unknown date, the plan being to breed her with 1.0 Tutume.

Does she know if she had any calf? If not, it's probably too late to have the first calf. However, I hope it was a good step. Their calf would be of great benefit to the North American population of African elephants, since neither has any genetic representation in America.

The Louisville Zoo has announced the winning names for their male African elephant calf: Elephant Calf Naming Contest (2019) | Louisville Zoo. The public can choose from the following three names:

Fitz -- named after finalist’s great-grandfather who loved elephants.

Rocket -- named after the character Rocket Raccoon from “Guardians of the Galaxy.”

Walt -- named after Walt Disney.

Personally, the following names are very odd for an African elephant calf. However, given the options, Fitz is the better choice as the name has sentimental meaning compared to the other two.

The names are very special and I don't like them very much. Fitz really feels the best.

I personally pick Walt, since there's the obvious Dumbo connection.

The 48-year-old African elephant cow, Gloria, died in September at Six Flags wild safari in New Jersey. The exact date of death is unknown. There are now 6 cows: Tanya (50), Barbara (48), Debbie (48), Lucy (48), Sheila (47) and Joyce (36). Since all cows except Joyce are old, we can expect the safari park to slowly lose elephants. I suppose he won't import any more elephants (correct me if I'm wrong).

Great Adventure is actively looking for new, younger elephants but availability is slim to none without a new import.

I am assuming that you found information regarding Gloria's passing through the following source.

Six Flags bought endangered animals for years without a permit, records appear to show - The Morning Call

Did Gloria pass away in September 2018 as the news article was published in July 2019 or did Gloria pass away in September 2016 as she was 45 years old at the time?

Does Six Flags Great Adventure still maintain a herd of six female African elephants as of December 2019?
