F Evey from the Wilds in 2020. She will be introduced or has already been now to M Uzazi. I think they might get one more cow in due course.

According to the Population Analysis & Breeding and Transfer Plan for GOHR's (2017) they listed 14 individuals. In the 2014 international studbook there were 9 at Rum Creek so the population has been growing. The fact that they have over 300 Banteng is astonishing! I hope that they give the offspring to other ranches and CS2 facilities who want to help propogate the species! I also saw earlier in the thread that Sanjay is at the Bronx Zoo. I remember when he was in Philly. He was housed next to the hippos. I don't think he and Xavira ever bred. He moved in 2004. I also noticed that there's a Brian in Columbus, a Rupert in Evansville so will there be one named Stewie? Then there could be a spin-off show called Rhino Guy LOL!

Also on a more serious note... does anyone know who is the largest Indian Rhino currently in the US/Canada? I've heard that males can potentially reach 195 cm in height in captivity and weigh 3 tons.

0.1 Sanya (08/14/99) Patrick x Indira at The Wilds is pregnant! This will be her 6th calf. The father of this soon to be born baby is Jahi. The baby will be born in the fall of 2021.

That's exciting! There are now two confirmed Indian rhino pregnancies, both due in Fall 2021 (Tashi at Buffalo & Sanya)

Sanya has given birth! She gave birth to a healthy female calf on August 16th, the sire of the calf is Jahi. The article also mentions Jahi has moved to "SSP Sustainability Partner facility in Florida earlier this year." I'm guessing they are talking about Rum Creek but I'm not sure.

The article mentions that the Wilds is now home to five GOHR so I guess that's confirmation that Suru and Anna have moved there. The other three would be Sanya and her daughters Rohini and the newborn.

Suru and Anna moved to the Wilds earlier this year and just have not gone on pasture yet because they arrived in the middle of the season.

Miami and OKC are both without a bull currently, but like you said Miami is more likely to be his new home since OKC's breeding female is still busy raising her almost 1-year old daughter. However, Akuti at Miami may already be pregnant by Suru prior to his departure to the Wilds. We will find out where George went sooner or later.

I looked through their social medias and found that the individual is male. No name though. There are several males within the population that could’ve been sent there and it’s hard to tell which one it could be as Shamba is not providing much info about him.

George was recommended by the SSP to be relocated to the White Oak Conservation Center. OKC and Miami are to remain without a male for the time being.

Excellent news! This will give him the opportunity to breed with several cows, and White Oak can continue to grow out its large crash! Also, do you know where Jahi from the Wilds was sent? From the description given by the park on his new home, I guessed Rum Creek but obviously given Rum Creek's secretive nature we never recieved any confirmation.

There was a fully grown adult bull at White Oak as of a year or two ago. Didn't he replace Patrick when he passed away? I saw a video of him on social media and he looked HUGE!!!

How sad, may she rest in peace. She was one of three remaining wildborn Indian rhinos in the US, now there are just two: Kali at Bronx and Shanti at OKC. Thankfully she has a daughter Chitwan who has passed on her mother's valuable wildborn genes to her two daughters and son.
