    0:1 hybrid Orangutan born at the Center for Great Apes in February and has been named 'Cahaya'. The father is named 'Archie' and the mother is called 'Sunshine'. Both parent animals are also hybrid Orangutans.

    It was indeed, as the mother was on contraception. The male 'Archie' has since had a vasectomy.

    Toledo Zoo has announced the birth of 1:0 Bornean Orang-utan to 'Bajik' and 'Leela' in October 2019. It has been named 'Fajar' and was hand-reared for the first 6 months due to an infected in the umbilicus, but has since been reintroduced to his mother 'Leela'.

    Leon zoo in Guanajuato, Mexico has 2 female Bornean orangutans ñamed Katy and Tang. They from US zoos.

    A male Bornean orangutan infant was born November 15 at ZooTampa to Goyang and Randee.

    I believe all of the Orangutans at Columbus are Bornean. Sulango is a male and Dumplin is a female.

    0.1 Connie (Hybrid), 1.0 Sinbad (Bornean), 0.1 Hanna (Hybrid), 0.1 Peanut (Hybrid), and 0.1 Pumpkin (Hybrid) were transferred from Jungle Island to the Center for Great Apes on September 18, 2020.

    31-year-old 0.1 Siabu (Sumatran) passed away on November __, 2020 at the Fresno Chaffee Zoo.

    61-year-old 0.1 Inji passed away on January 9, 2021, at the Oregon Zoo.

    The male infant born November 15, 2020, to 0.1 Randee and 1.0 Goyang at the Tampa Zoo was named Riplee.

    0.1 Reese gave birth to an infant on February 28, 2021, at the Audubon Zoo. 1.0 Jambi, at the Audubon Zoo, is the sire. The infant has yet to be named, and their gender has yet to be determined.

    1.0 Budi and 0.1 Sekali, at the Toronto Zoo, have been reintroduced for breeding. Introductions between the pair have been positive, and successful mating behaviour was observed. Budi has a recommendation by the SSP to breed with Sekali, as well as 0.1 Ramai.
