I have determined that the female that is due to arrive at the John Ball Zoo is coming from Canada, so she is likely Penelope.

As @TinoPup has stated how have you determined this? It would be best if you included a link to the source to prove this information.
Nonetheless, Penelope is a realistic option to move to JBZ, as it would not only give Jahari a mate, but also allow her parents (Harvey & Kindia) to breed again.

I apologize for the blunder. There are a few articles out there that state a female is coming from Canada, but didn't directly state its Penelope who's moving. I guess @IndianRhino found one that did.

She just celebrated her 50th birthday at the Fund for Animals sanctuary. So, it was not too her detriment. Generally though, I would agree ..., it seems it was space issues (and the original transfer was 22 years ago ...).

F Penelope has arrived at John Ball Zoo on June 20th, 2023 at the recommendation of the SSP Pygmy Hippo. The JBZoo in Grand Rapids already had Jahari (Johari) originally, who came in March 2023 from Pittsburgh Zoo.
