The Madagascar Hissing Cockroaches are being relocated. They will be off exhibit, with the rest of education animals (in the back rooms of the barn), which are used in presentations to visitors, zoo camps, and are also used to train new volunteers. Taking their place will be Tomato Frogs, a completely new animal to the zoo. The exhibit should be up by the end of this week. Adding to the news, a third Cotton Top Tamarin is in quarantine right now. Lastly, I can't say much about this, but the zoo is looking at getting one of two different species of Madagascan animals to exhibit. That's your hint. It's all I'll say.
