Toxic fuel spill fouls Vancouver's English Bay and area beaches As the title says, there's been an oil spill. It all comes in the midst of a debate on plans to increase tanker traffic in the area, so this spill could put a damper on those plans. Officials are working to clean the oil right now, and the Vancouver Aquarium has put out a response team to look for sea animals that may be at risk. It's not a huge spill, but there's still cause for concern. Really hope the southern resident orcas don't get harmed. They just had a baby boom after two years of no surviving calves, and it would be just horrible if the oil hurt them.
