I think that Usala moved to a collection in the US, but I again can’t be 100 percent sure.
    Dicky is still at Chester.

I read on a facebook post that in Safari Park Beekse Bergen a new okapi arrived. The name could be Lena of Nela. The only okapi with a name like that is Neyla born in Frankfurt but I saw her there last month. Doe sanyone know more about the new okapi in Beekse Bergen?

What will be the future of the okapi's at Copenhagen?
As far as I can see they are housing two males. In the past the okapi house has been a step forwards for okapi housing and breeding. But what for the coming years?

I’ve been keeping track of everything, it should now be roughly 35.42 across 26 zoos...

Antwerp Zoo announced this week that an okapi was born on 23 February. It is a male and has been given the name Xandor. Mother is Lindi, this is her second young. Father is Semuliki, this is his first young. Besides father, mother and young, there are two other okapi's living in Antwerp. This is the young male Ubundu and the female Zaïre. Zaïre is also expecting a young animal at the end of this year.

In a Facebook group about Safaripark Beekse Bergen a picture was shown today of a sign saying that an okapi was born today.

After the birth in Antwerp, and after I saw that this thread had not been updated for a while, I decided to make an updated list:
