Old world monkeys in Latin American zoos

    It turns out that "common baboon" is actually a female Guinea baboon! She is the oldest living resident of the zoo and has lived there for 32 years. Therefore, there are still animals from this species in Brazil.

    Hey, guys. I'm sorry for my absence, but I'm back with some new stuff. I noticed that I had forgotten to talk about the mandrills (or drills) kept at the former São Paulo city zoo, located at the Parque da Aclimação. I also discovered that the Zulia Metropolitan zoo (Maracaibo, Venezuela) kept some African monkeys from the Chlorocoebus genus, as well as *gasp* northern pig-tailed macaques. Here is the proof:

    You are really good at zoo this kind of detective work @Enzo, it is amazing some of the information you find out about zoo history.
