It's on my to do list as it's only a few hours away. One of these days I'll make a trip out there and maybe visit the Maryland Zoo on the same day.

I have. It's quite small and a poor in quality zoo compared to most of the major zoos. It's not worth going out of your way for. I think the Salisbury Zoo is better and it's free.

Thanks for uploading photos. I'll show my fiance to strongly encourage him it's a zoo we should miss.

It's the type of zoo that is alright to visit if you live near it and aren't expecting much. It's not the type of zoo to go way out of your way for, though. They do have a good collection of small cats at least.

Stopped by here on the way to see the zoo and aquarium over a weekend in baltimore(post there coming). Anyway they have really done quite a lot since my last visit here. Fixed up some of the old exhibits in the middle with the mesh/net fronts. Pretty nice new tamarin exhibit and the eagle ridge mentioned before looks like it will be a real nice addition. Not really a new exhibit but updates on the public side with ramps big viewing platform and stuff. Place looked much cleaner and just overall neater as well. Not bad for a short stop in the middle of visiting other places.

They have two new N. American porcupines and Bodhi and Peanut from the Elmwood Park Zoo.
