A wildlife documentary has very recently been aired here in the UK,on Nat Geo Wild, doucmenting local and international efforts to conserve and find some way of storing SR eggs and sperms, most notably following three rhinos in Sabah,Malaysia, one of them a female captured from the wild, but sadly dying of tumours. Since this program was made in 2015/16,SR in in the wild of Sabah have sadly likely gone extinct, and the only hope is a tiny wild population in Kalimantan,Indonesia, and what few catpives there are. It makes me feel impotent and at a loss, that yet again another species is on the brink of extinction due to idiotic humans lust for sport, for logging and land clearance, and some of our misguided goals we should be THE dominant spices that controls the lives of other spcies we share on this planet.

I think the worst threat facing the Sumatran rhino is political inaction...

I would like to see a good documentary on Javan Rhinos. They're so cool!
