    A few snippets of news;
    -Rajang, a hybrid male from Colchester Zoo has passed away at the age of 50. At the time of his death, he was the oldest male Orangutan in Europe. They plan to re-name the enclosure in honour of him. This leaves Colchester with 1:0 Bornean Orang-utan.
    -Zoo de Bassin d'Arcachon is constructing a new walled exhibit for their 1:2 Bornean Orang-utan, after their current outdoor enclosure (a large island) was hardly used by the Orang-utans.

    Ito and Kesatu, Bornean Orang-utans from Hai Park Zoo have gone to the Jerusalem Biblical Zoo, who are a new holder. Jerusalem Biblical Zoo will receive 2 females in the Spring, for each male. This leaves Hai Park Zoo with 1:0 hybrid and 0:1 Sumatran.

    Some problems occurred with the introduction, with Lea becoming increasingly aggressive to him and with an introduction to his mother (Sungai) again failing at the end of last year. The decision has been made to move Hujan to Monkey World on the 11th of March to be introduced to the 'Orangutan Nursery' they have.

    1:0 Bornean Orang-utan named 'Cezar' transferred from Kaliningrad Zoo to Rostov-on-don Zoo. This is the first Orang-utan at Rostov since the last female Sumatran died in 2016. This also leaves Kaliningrad with 1:1 (mother and infant son), but are due to receive a male soon.
