    Hello,
Do you know if an Orangutan has recently left an Hungarian zoo to France?
It seems that a (male?) individual has just arrived in Beauval (my home zoo), where the former breeding male passed away in late 2021 (a message with the word "welcome" in French, English and Hungarian has been put on the window of their indoor exhibit).
    Thanks.

Only one Hungarian zoo currently holds Bornean orang-utan like Beauval, this being Nyíregyháza Állatpark. They currently hold 2 males, Guru (32 years old) and Tigu (18 years old).
