It's been a long time since I visit this zoo (approx. 20 years).

If I remember correctly, the zoo is on a hillside and not so easy to find for foreigners by car (lack of signs). There is no entrance fee for the zoo itself, but for the Amazonia hall.

Places with shadow are rare so prepare to walk most of the time in the sun.

Exhibits are mostly mediumsized, a good collection with african (hoofstock) and malagasyan animals (well known for breeding Fossas). No tigers, no Elephants, no Gorillas or Orang-Utans. New(er) Giraffe exhibit. There are Cheetahs, Grevy Zebras, Syrian Brown Bear and others.

Because the Amazon hall wasn't built at the time of my vistit, I can't report about it. But according to the internet you can expect Tamarins, Green Anaconda, Caimans, Anteaters, Bats, Fishes and Birds.
