    At the moment there are still only 3 females, but the plan is different for the near future;).
    If you want to come again to Italy, tell me when...and we can meet somewhere visiting colleagues in the zoos of Northern Italy, even in my institution.

    Yes, that will be very nice to do and thank you for the offer. I will keep it in mind for the summertime.

    For now of course, we are not allowed to travel either in The Netherlands, but hopefully by then things will be different.

    I think there are Italian zoos which are much better than Fasano.

    Luca, I was merely commenting on where things stood in the distant past. Thankfully, peoples' preferences have changed and now facilities like Fasano are viewed in a different way. Zoos in Italia have been developing certainly much since the 2000's, even the city zoos in Napoli and Roma.

    This is digressing from the Le Cornelle thread though!!!

    A female red river hog has arrived, and she will be reached soon by a breeding male from Poland. A very nice addition to a growing zoo.

    2.0 bat-eared foxes arrived;-)! They will be mixed with red-river hogs in a really nice mixed exhibit.

    Cool, the park needed new species
