What I have been able to find in a lost corner is that they are called Rusbam (M) and Sophie (F). What origins or subspecies / hybrid I do not know ... as yet.
News from Parco Faunistico Valcorba (PD) - 4 silvery marmosets arrived - 2 females mandrills arrived (and one male, from Rome, will arrive next week). - 1 female guereza arrived - 3 nyalas (one male and two females) arrived - 5 white-headed capuchins arrived - 1 common snapping turtle arrived
A young spectacled owl (the only specimen in Italy at the moment) and a pair of Rocky eagle owl arrived from Planckendael.
A young female of North Chinese leopard arrived from Tierpark Cottbus. Parco Faunistico Valcorba is the only italian zoo to host this beautiful subspecies and to participate in the EEP. A male will arrive later in the year.
I want to report to the Zootierliste staff that is reading this topic that this is the topic of Parco Valcorba and not of Parco La Torbiera (because the zootierliste page of North Chinese leopard has been updated wrongly).
Valcorba seems a very good zoo,one of the best in Italy! Are there interesting projects for the future?
I work there, so I thank you for your words. It is a young, nice and well-developing zoo. I advice you to come visit us. There are a lot of interesting project for the future!
Nice,I love cranes. My local zoo used to host both of them, but not anymore. Are the blue cranes a breeding pair?
