They didn't come from another zoo, according to the parks website there were 20 young alligators found in a petshop in Netherlands, four zoos in Europe (including Parken Zoo) has now taken care of the animals. In the summer they will open a new enclosure for them.
Just a couple of questions I just have a couple of qusetions that I'd be greatful if someone could answer. Thanks in advance 1)Can anyone confirm the genders of the 0:0:3 Asian Lion cubs born in 2011 to Ishara? 2)What is the long term plan for the Sumatran Tigers? Will they transfer the breeding male (Bagus) elsewhere and wait for Tornade to pass away before Wayan gets a female or is Wayan moving on and they wait for another female for Bagus? Thanks again
Wayan is leaving the collection this year. I don't know the plans with his parents or the Asian lions. I can't tell you where Wayan is going just yet.
Visited the zoo today, and there's a lot going on to the summer season. Five new exhibits are under construction, I will keep you updated about the new exhibits, and their inhabitants. Other news is that the pumas have left the collection as it seems (in their former exhibit will come a new species) Still no sign of the L'hoests monkeys, I don't think they are kept by the zoo anymore. The zoo is opening for the summer season 5th of May.
i can tell you that i know two of the species and it´s gonna be really big news when they are announced
Nice to hear, I have some guesses about the new species but I don't know if I'm right By the way, do you know when they will be announced?
I don´t know when they are going to announced but i think maybe a week or something before the premier
