I saw that the Diana Monkeys have moved, I wonder why? They came to Parken Zoo only two years ago.

I think, that the Diana monkeys left because they didn't fit well in with the drills. I will visit the park soon to update you with a list of animals.

Do you know when 'Wayan' the Sumatran Tiger born in 2010 is being moved on and to where? I suspect it will be fairly soon as he will be reaching maturity in the next year or so.

Well, maybe you should make it more clear when you are just guessing. From what I saw the diana monkey/drill mixed exhibit was a success.

Here's some info, make of it what you will; the diana monkey female was over 20 years old and had never breed. The l'hoest's female is a youngster.

Is there any indication if their moving the young male Sumatran Tiger 'Wayan' on yet and to where? He is two years old now and with his mother getting on and already have produced a good number of offspring maybe they may keep him and send his parents away?

The board and the zoo director have lost their jobs. Now the owner, The City of Eskilstuna will put a new board in place soon and a new zoologist, a new zoo director and several zoo keepers will be hired. The park will also invest in:
    - New outdoor exhibit for clouded leopard
    - New exhibit for whitehanded and white cheeked gibbon
    - Improvements of pygmy hippo and tapir enclosures

There are many more invests right now to make sure the park lives up to the laws and regulations of Sweden but also the Swedish Zoo Organisation SDF.

What? No one have claimed that they were put down because Parken Zoo didn't have the money to keep them. The two last wildbeest were an old couple, the remains of a larger group and the park decided not to keep the species anymore. They may have eaten it but thats not really a problem, that is something that happens now and then in zoos. Last year people were angry because Parken Zoo fed their tigers with meat from zoo animals that were to many. Thats the circle of life... And meat isn't produced in a factory, but on farms and by real animals. Some people seem to not understand that.
