Zoo news from this new (?) zoo park in Ecatepec. Starting with elephants: from circus elephant to zoo elephant and breeding program. The Parque Ecológico Ehécatl Ecatepec held a single male Asiatic elephant. A female rescued by Zoo Zacango from a circus in Cordoba, Vera Cruz was sent on breeding loan to this park in 2016. Unfortunately, their male Benny died quite suddenly that December.
