I am not sure ZooChatters have already heard something about this new park opening this summer : Parrot World | Parc animalier immersif à 30 minutes de Paris

This park is focusing on parrots and will contain a giant south-american walkthrougt aviary (one hectare) where you will see ...parrots, ibises, flamingos, a lot of others birds, jaguars and giant river otters. Out of the aviary, you will see humboltd penguins, guanacos and coatis. You can sleep in the large aviary. A few lodges are building.

This new park is built in the same area as "Le Parc des Félins".

A lot to see in 2020 in France !

The park will open its doors on August 15.

In view of the few images of works and computer generated images, this park seems very interesting. To see in real obviously ...
We already know that the rest will be devoted to Africa and if it is as well studied as for the Amazon ...

That penguin exhibits looks nice and spacious. Could you post some images of future flamingo exhibit? Or at least, is it an aviary and what species is kept.

As I said above the park is not open.
The only photos you can find are those of the park itself.

The flamingos wil be in the one hectare walkthrough aviary but I don't know exactly how and what size will be the pond and the beach for them.
Some species in the aviary will be : jaguars (in the aviary but in a separated enclosure), giant river otters, american flamingos, scarlet macaws, blue and yellow macaws, military macaws, great green macaws, golden-collared macaws, chestnut-fronted macaws, yellow-headed amazons, blue-fronted amazons, mealy amazons, yellow-shouldered amazons,vinaceous-breasted amazons, lilacine amazons, common burrowing parrots, turkey vultures, southern screamers, sunbitterns, scarlet ibis, various ducks...
Not to mention outside : humboltd penguins, guanacos, coatis.

All the parrots in the giant aviary will be males (the park already works with the EAZA Parrots TAG). Breeding pairs of parrots will be in a off-show breeding station which is (to my memory) the first one built in France.

Ti punch, a young male jaguar coming from Zoo de la Martinique, has joined the park. He will be paired with Emma, a female already there.

In a new press article it is said that the park will open a new area called Chaco Trek so I assume the peccaries will be chacoan. Other info : their enclosure will be 2.000 m².
