I was fortunate enough to travel to San Diego for work in March, and I had a free day. What else would I do but visit San Diego Zoo :)

I dream of visiting San Diego Zoo! Fabulous video as always. I really need a new job that will send me to different parts of the world! Clouded leopard and cheetah <3

It was great, though I went without Lynsey so she wasn't best pleased. I travelled to Singapore for work recently too but didn't got to any zoos (for the sake of my marriage!).

I was also lucky - very lucky - to see San Diego Zoo on a free day on a work trip, as well as some other overseas zoos too on other trips, but as Paul implies it can be frustrating at times. I've passed very close to some collections I'd really love to visit but have been unable to.. so near and yet so far.. that's often the way when travelling with work.

I'm so glad I get make it to San Diego though, and your video captures the atmosphere well Paul. Of course, you'll have to go back some time so that Lynsey doesn't miss out ;)

I'll never live it down @NigeW if I don't take her sometime in the near future! ;)

I did buy her a handbag, I think that appeased her (for now!) :)

I've added visit #82 to the "United Kingdom - Other", as BCA doesn't have its own album. We had an enjoyable visit last April, the highlights being the reptile and nocturnal houses. Would recommend a visit to anyone when their open days are announced for 2019.

Looks like I posted the Birdworld video on the media page, but not on my thread, so here is it:

And now the start of our 10 day tour of the Netherlands last June, starting on our wedding anniversary with our infamous trip to Bestzoo...

Day two of the tour was a cracking day at Safari Beekse Bergen. By far the best safari park we've visited, the fact you can view most of the safari animals on foot added an extra dimension. Some unusual mixed species exhibits too...

    I'd guess it's a Derby's woolly opossum

Yes that's one of the woolly oppossums we got to meet behind the scenes :)

I had a bit of a disaster at the end of March - My hard drive corrupted, containing all the video footage of zoos I had yet to edit! I sent the hard drive off to the manufacturer to see if it could be recovered. Luckily for me it could, and I now have all my footage back! So here is the first video since March - Zie-ZOO! I really enjoyed our visit, saw lots of new animals, the serval kittens and baby tree porcupine were adorable. And as an added bonus, we bumped into @Mr. Zootycoon :)

Good save! it must have been a huge relief Paul.
I enjoyed this one, as always, and look forward to the next instalment.

Thanks @NigeW, it was a massive, but expensive, relief. But now I'm even further behind lol.

I've finally got my head back into editing videos again.

Now on to Apenhuel - Only 3 hours worth of footage to trawl through!
