Does anyone know if the file in the System32 folder (windows 7) called slui is the same file as slui.exe?

I need to stop the Windows not a legal copy message appearing at start up, and it seems that I need to delete the slui.exe file. If I h
ave an illegal copy, then I was sold one by the retailer as I've had this message on and off for 3 years.

Maybe you need to activate Windows?

Windows was activated in 2011 when I got the PC. Sometime last night a screen came up asking me to input my activation code. I did so, and everything is working now. Must have been a virus of some kind.
