    What would you do!

Tropical asia trail extended to include Sloth, sub bears and tigers.

the 2 bear enclosures combined for a new gorilla house

giraffes move to africa plain and current giraffe paddock becomes home to the parks african elephant, with another, old female bought in for company

the current tiger paddock becomes area for okapi and duiker or hyena, (not sure yet).

Also there is a new map

    www.zoo.org/zoo_info/pdf_bin/map.pdf

    will post some more later

actually, keep the elphants the same and the hippo now have the current giraffe padock, meaning the savvanah would be extended.

Would the patas monkey enclosure be poss to house black rhino?

I don't see the goat yards on the map. Do they still keep serows?

Yes, there are still Japanese serows. They are in the temperate forest section of the zoo, directly next to the red panda exhibit. The zoo has plans for a new west entry area and meerkat exhibit next year, with the meerkats in an all-indoor area within the "Adaptations" building. The sumatran tiger grotto will be redesigned into a modern, naturalistic enclosure a year or so afterwards.

Cool. I loved Woodland Park when I visited in 04. The serow exhibit was my hands down favorite. Well, that and the wild bald eagle nesting in the park.
