Being the youngest viable breeding males in Australasia, Hasani, Bwana & Kondo have been chosen to join 3 Perth females, to help increase the probability of breeding this rapidly declining species. On top of this incredible transfer Altina has also been selected to hold a second breeding pack! This will consist of, 3 other 2yr old, Altina born sisters and Altina's current bachelor pack!

A Green Pygmy Goose (Nettapus pulchellus) hatched on 16 November. Despite the rarity of this species in zoos, it seems to have received zero publicity...guess it's 'only' a duck, as far as most people are concerned.
