Currently I have 0.1 guinea pigs, 2 fantail goldfish and 5 white cloud mountain minnows. Probably getting a bearded dragon soon once I have saved up enough. I have spent months doing extensive reaserch on the care of bearded dragons and i am not going to purchase one until i am absolutly sure that i know what i am doing.

Sorry, newbie question. What does the 1.0 or 1.7 mean?

It means how many males or females. For example: 1.0 is 1 male, 1.1 is 1 male, 1 female, 1.7 is 1 male and 7 females, 0.7 is no males and 7 females...

Currently I only own 1.0 Otter Rex Rabbit, simply because my brother moved out recently and he is the one that brought our pets into the collection.

At my brothers new house he has taken 2.0 Chinchilla (father and child), 0.0.1 goldfish (I think koi), though sadly this has recently died after a good 10yr+ life and 1.0 Roborovski's Dwarf Hamster.
My brother has also obtained 1.1 kittens (not sure of breed) since moving out.

In the past (collectively), we have owned the following (not sure of breeds):
    0.0.2 Budgerigars
    0.1 Hamster
    2.0 Rabbits
    0.0.5 goldfish
Several cats (but when I was young, so don't know numbers/genders)

In the future (especially when I move out) I hope to own:
    1.1 Pot-Bellied Pig
    1.4 Chicken (any breed)
    1.2 Indian Blue Peafowl
    1.1 Green Iguana
    1.1 Bearded Dragon
0.1 Sugar Glider (maybe also a male, but not essential since they can be happy with human interaction)

    Current count:

Indoors: 1 magpie, 1 starling, 1 sparrow: all hand-reared (the magpie and sparrow by us, the starling by a wildlife hospital, was released, didn't like it, found a human to land on!)
Outdoors: 1 magpie (hand-reared, released, was a nuisance to humans, recaptured, rehomed here), 2 azure-winged magpies, plus 3 of this year's young magpies (1 tame, one wildish, but will take things from tweezers, 1 more wild) and 5 of this year's young crows, hopefully releasable next year if they grow decent wings and tails.

    Oh, and one cat...!

I have two male cats and 2 female guinea pigs.

Also, I am thinking of getting a turtle (some sort of soft-shelled turtle), and I was wondering if anyone with a turtle had any tips or advice? Thanks :)

At the moment I only have-
    1:0 Carolina green anole
    1:0 Asian long-tailed grass lizard
    0:1 Violet ground beetle
    0:0:1 Devil's coach-horse beetle

Having sadly lost 1:0 Carolina green anole and 1:0 Neon blue-tailed tree lizard to old age. :( Now, I have a spare tank, either for another small lizard species (I'm thinking emerald blue geckos) or a tree frog species. I also plan to increase my invertebrate collection. :D

Throughout childhood I had hamsters (14 in total but not at the same time) and rabbits (8 but most at 1 time was 4)

Since moving out of my parents' home I have had 3 male rats (Poirot, Holmes and Doodle). Doodle was a rescue and had special needs so had to live on his own.

I now have 2 more male rats, both are Hooded Fancy Rats and they are called Jeremy and Charlie!!!

4 Assorted Danios - Don't know sexes lol. From Pets At Home
4 White Clouds - Again don't know sexes lol. From Pets At Home
1 Dwarf Loach - As above. From Pets At Home
1 Cat - Female called Lottie who I got from Cats Protection.

I am looking at either getting tropical fish in the future but I may need another tank as I am hoping for babies from the Clouds and Danio's. Or Axolotti depending on how hard they are to keep.

Sadly, I have no more budgies. I will hopefully be able to achieve my dream of owning either a green cheeck or sun conure or Hahn's or blue and gold macaw
