Following suit on our previous threads (i.e. Birds of Paradise in captivity, Cotingas in captivity, Barbets in captivity, Manakins in captivity), @Vision and I have been working on a list for yet another family of wonderful animals in captivity, namely Phalangeridae.

    A couple thoughts beforehand:
    1)
Because we had to draw the line somewhere, we decided to use no information older than 5 years (so only things posted from late 2013 onwards) upon making this list; we did this to keep the list as accurate and up-to-date as possible.
    2) To make this list we used information from zootierliste, zoochat, visits to the respective zoos, and occasionally other sources (facebook pages of the collections, visits of friends to the respective zoos, etc.)
    3) There are bound to be many more in other collections, but it is very hard to find a lot of information about them online.
    4) Anyone is more than welcome to mention things that need to be altered/updated on this list!

These are what are held in ZAA collections (so not a full list for the region)

    Australia unspecified subspecies:
    Australia Walkabout
    Australia Zoo
    Billabong
    Darling Downs
    Gumbuya
    Oakvale
    Peel
    Shoalhaven
    Symbio
    WILD LIFE Sydney

    Australia (fuliginosus)
    Caversham
    Currumbin
    Tasmania Zoo

    Australia (hypoleucus)
    Kanyana

    Australia (vulpecula)
    Caversham
    Halls Gap
    Perth
    Taronga

In New Zealand the only ZAA collections with possums are Pouakai, Natureland and Willowbank (all from local animals which are subspecific hybrids) but quite a few smaller collections have them too.

    Australia Trichosurus arnhemensis
    Kanyana
    Secret Creek
    Territory

(Peel also list for arnhemensis but this is their golden vulpecula which is 100% not arnhemensis))

    Umm.... KUMAMOTO?!

Seriously though, you need to explain this madness.

Actually, looking a bit further, the photo I saw dated 2017 is the same photo on older sites dated as 2012 and 2005. So I think some confirmation would be in order.

Sulawesi dwarf cuscus, Strigocuscus celebensis :
Batu Secret Zoo also had at least 1 when I visited in April earlier this year.

    Short-tailed spotted cuscus, Spilocuscus maculatus:
I wasn't able to see any because I was a bit rushed but Taman Safari Bogor supposedly has this species as well.

Only Cuscus species at Batu I saw during my visit a couple days ago was Sulawesi Dwarf Cuscus.

Black-spotted (?) Cuscus at Gembira Loka still there.
How sure is that ID btw?

They should still have seven bear cuscus, so these are likely offshow
