Here I have attempted to make a complete list of Phasianinae present in American and Canadian collections. Only information 2018 or newer was used. I have excluded the domestic form of the Wild Turkey. Information on missing holders or species, as well as information on subspecies or populations is welcomed.

I'm sure I missed many holders for most of the pheasants and Wild Turkey. Are there really no Ruffed Grouse anywhere? I've seen them at both NEW and Minnesota but neither seem to hold the species anymore.

I feel like there are a lot of species missing from that list ... Indian Peafowl, for example.

This thread only covers the Phasianinae, I have covered all the other Galliformes in other past threads.

Oh, okay, I didn't realise that. In that case, I feel like there are a lot of species missing from that list ... Indian Peafowl, for example.

Indian Peafowl are classified in the subfamily Pavoninae, I covered it along with the Rollulinae here.

Buttonwood has a Cabot's tragopan. I've never seen a Himalayan monal there, although there is a chance one is kept behind the scenes.
Roger Williams keeps wild turkeys, but does not keep a temmincks tragopan (at least not on exhibit).

San Diego and Bronx should have Satyr Tragopan.

Riverbanks and Tautphaus Park in Idaho Falls have Temminck's Tragopan.

Woodland Park and Franklin Park have Cabot's Tragopan.

Bronx also has Swinhoe's Pheasant, Lady Amherst's Pheasant, Himalayan Monal, and Silver Pheasant.

Pinola Aviary in Louisiana lists having Ruffed Grouse, but that facility isn't open for public display.

Edwards's Pheasant: Riverbanks, Memphis, Knoxville, Miami, Oklahoma City, St. Augustine, Woodland Park
Lady Amherst's Pheasant: Miami, Cleveland Metroparks, Philadelphia
Crested Fireback: St. Augustine, Santa Barbara, Livingston Ripley
    Ring-necked Pheasant: Oklahoma City
    Himalayan Monal: Turtle Back, Toledo
    Temminck's Tragopan: San Francisco
    Elliot's Pheasant: Livingston Ripley, Bronx
    Mikado Pheasant: Bronx
    Satyr Tragopan: Bronx

Did you list Silver Pheasant twice for Toledo in error, or because they have non-subspecific and berlioz?

The Kalij Pheasant exhibit photo I can find is at Wilderness Walk, not Wilderness Trails.

Prospect Park had Silver Pheasant, Himalayan Monal, and Eliot's Pheasant as recently as 2017, and Staten Island had the latter two of those in 2016; @ThylacineAlive might know if they still do, or know who to ask.

Thanks! The Silver Pheasant thing is an error.

Maybe I'm a little behind on my taxonomy but I thought Phasianinae included argus, peacock-pheasants, peafowl, and junglefowl?

This is what I have for the WCS going into 2021, for what's included in the subfamily in this thread:
    -Ocellated Turkey: Bronx
-Satyr Tragopan: Central Park, Prospect Park
    -Temminck's Tragopan: Bronx
    -Cabot's Tragopan: Bronx
-Himalayan Monal: Bronx, Central Park, Prospect Park
    -Silver Pheasant: Bronx, Prospect Park
    -Swinhoe's Pheasant: Bronx, Prospect Park
    -Elliot's Pheasant: Bronx
    -Lady Amherst's Pheasant: Bronx
    -Brown Eared-Pheasant: Bronx
    -Western Capercaillie

Toledo does not hold capercaillie afaik.

Woodland Park should have Temminck's Tragopan

Sequoia Park may still have Golden Pheasant

Wild Turkeys at Wildlife Safari and Beardsley Zoo. Not necessarily part of the collection per se....

I don't think I'd count the turkeys at Wildlife Safari as part of the collection, easily seen as they may be.

I can confirm they were present in June of 2019, so unless you know they have left since then Toledo keeps them.

Photo from July 2020, and they are referenced on here as far back as 2014-15.
