    PictureAustralia is a service hosted by the National Library of Australia that has heaps pf amazing old photographs of all aspects of life in Australia and i thoguht that some of our Aussie forum users might like it as it has heaps of old photos of Zoos.
    i did a search for Taronga Zoo and the photos show how mush some aspects of the zoo have changed and how similar others are ie there are heaps of photos of the Chimpanze exhibit as it used to look which is quite similar to what it looks like nowdays

    A search of "Taronga Zoo" brings back over 1100 images..!

    Some of those Taronga photos take me back to my childhood (yes, I'm getting old!)
    Some were WAY older than me.

    All interesting.
