    Hi folks,
I'm hoping this forum might be the quickest (and easiest) way to find out :)

Could you help me list which Zoos (or wildlife parks, animal collections, whatever you want to call them) house pinnipeds in the UK?

    Get writing :p

    Cheers
    Lin

I don't know all collections, but I'll have a go at a few.

Californian Sea Lions are held @ Longleat Safari Park, Welsh Mountain Zoo, Whipsnade Zoo?, Knowsley Safari Park?, Blair Drummond Safari Park and a number of others

Patagonian Sea Lions are held @ Twycross, Edinburgh and possibly others

Don't know about seals , but I know there are no walrus in the UK.

Cool, thanks for confirming. I think there are probably some form of pinnipeds in the other large zoos (Colchester, Dublin, Belfast etc). Again, these will need confirmation.

St. Andrews Aquarium holds a Grey? Seal (and there are seal sanctuaries in other parts of the UK like Cornwall), I don't know if these count to what you are after.

Your best bet is to use Zootierliste. Here is a link, ZootierlisteHomepage you can choose between the three Pinniped lists (Eared Seals, Walruses and Earless Seals). Zootierliste will list which zoos have which species, and will also list the rest of Europe.

It is the simplest, and quicket way to answer your question.

EDIT: So in answer to your question, the species kept in the UK and which zoos have them are listed below:

Both my link and your link is working perfectly fine for me. If it does not work, I have listed the species.
