Dinosaurs at the Pittsburgh Zoo will return with all new dinosaurs. 18 total. Not repeats from last year. The major highlight for the zoo this year will be the tiger cubs.

The Pittsburgh Zoo and PPG Aquarium Renovation project will create a new front gate/admissions area and renovate outmoded elevator/escalator systems, as well as build a Learning and Events Center and install large-scale acrylic windows and tunnels as part of the Zoo's latest construction project, Compass Point. This construction and renovation project is vital to the Zoo's continued growth and success. This RACP scope will be part of a larger scope project of nearly $20 million. The entire project will include the construction of the Zoo's newest exhibits, Compass Point and The Mountains. These new exhibits will house conservation and rescue/rehabilitation programs for endangered and threatened species, including Florida Manatees.

In case you are wondering, the rumor about getting manatees has been going on for a while and it is finally true. They will go in compass point
