So now, anti zoo people along with many others are going to protest against the zoo and demand elephant program to be ended, and release all of their animals...

Release all the animals ... to poachers. These people do not realize there is not much truly wild places left. I bet a lot of these people have pets. Most people who protest are usually hypocrites in some way or form anyway. Pittsburgh survived the wild dog incident and they will survive this. Most of these people are probably from out of town too.

Where would you even protest there? They cant be on zoo grounds and if i remember correctly theres not much on the corner of that interaction. Where are you gonna go? In someones front yard? I hope they get the cops called on them.

To clarify in case there is any confusion, the Elephant Care Center is at the elephant exhibit at the zoo. That is the building's name.

The zoo is currently looking for painters, most likely for the next phase of zoo exhibits which I hope starts soon... could also be for jungle renovations

We added new substrate to our capybara/anteater exhibit so the anteaters will be able to stay out and the capybaras won't be able to muddy it up, they are now back on exhibit.

It is sad there are such clueless people in the world. What do protesters like this really do for conservation? They don't want animals in captivity, but they also do not do anything to help protect animals in the wild. Clueless hypocrites!
