Three new mods have come since the Sri Lankan leopard - the Cape bushbuck, the Southern tamandua and the yellow-throated marten.

 

A new bird has arrived, the Scarlet Ibis!

 

Really well made models. Although baby scarlet ibis are black instead of gray.

 

Have any pre-existing mods been updated for compatibility with 1.6?

 

Yes. Fallow deer, capybara, african leopard, dik dik, curassow, tamandua and some others have already been updated for 1.6.

 

Yeah quite a few have, though it'll be awhile before most of them are compatible again I suspect.

 

I'm excited to see what people do with the fennec fox and meerkat rigs, it opens up lots of new doors for the modders.

 

For sure. Various species of mongoose or even rodents based on the meerkat could come, as well as many species of fox with the fennec (hoary, bat-eared, crab-eating... Maybe even bush dogs).

 

Beluga has arrived, and I believe the new smallest mod, the Eastern Chipmunk!

All the fishes are updated, except the great hammerhead shark and the sand tiger shark.

The 1.5 version of the Lynx made it glitch??? I wonder how that happened, it wouldn’t be because it was a different version of the game oh no no no, it can’t be.

 

This is literally how all mods work (probably you already know this but I will repeat it), and this one is about the only one that makes your game do weird things like files that crashing and others.
