The Safari pack is finally out! It consists of 2 parts: a Prop pack and an Animal pack. The props look very good and the pack includes new rock types, walls, statues, posters, termite hills, backgrounds, new font styles and more. Many of the props are inspired on the San Diego Zoo, such as statues and things like the San Diego Zoo logo is also in the Pack.

I don't think I even need to say that this Pack is awesome.
Another modpack that has come out is the India Pack, so far only with props, and not animals. An already confirmed species for this pack is the Sri Lankan elephant.
The pack includes statues and walls, including the iconic rhino head from the Bronx Zoo's Zoo Center.

 

So many mods came out in the time after the last post that I cannot list them all here, but I have listed all the relevant modded animals (no extinct ones, though), as well as the official ones, and links to all of them here: All Planet Zoo Animals (Official and Mods)
I do want to mention that thanks to the download that is the “Awesome Cobra Script Extender” (ACSE), the newer mods will no longer require you to buy DLCs to get certain animal mechanics. Therefore, you can get a Victorian Koala or Red-necked Wallaby without the Australia Pack, and you won’t need the Aquatic Pack’s Caiman to get fishes.
Some older mods have not been converted (yet) and still require packs, such as the Emu, the Grey Kangaroo, the Solenodon, the Tamandua, and most of the fish.
