well, if i were to choose a macaque species, i would choose both of your choices plus the pig tailed macaque, i also would like to choose the barbary macaque so we can boost our european or north african sections.
I think this design would work best for smaller birds, like songbirds and lorikeets, especially with the opportunity of mixing several species. However, I do feel that larger birds, like macaws, large hornbills and most raptors, would be better off with a custom made aviary, built with a system derived from the current barrier system.
wow i can't believe we reached 100 pages, let's see when the official support ends this page about planet zoo will have 200 pages.
I tried to open a previously saved game which had the Baroque-style giraffe house that I built in June and had saved as a blueprint. The saved game crashes and the blueprint for the giraffe house can no longer be found. Any ideas on why this is happening??? Giraffe Barn In Progress by Sarus Crane posted 23 Jun 2022 at 8:34 PM Giraffe Barn Exhibits by Sarus Crane posted 24 Jun 2022 at 10:21 AM Anyways, I've decided to rebuild it for a new zoo I'm making. Now that I know more about the advanced building tools in the game I can make all the pieces look more uniform. I hope it'll come out ok.
Building back better than ever! My replacement Giraffe House is about 50% complete and this time guests will be able to come inside!!!
Red Kangaroos, Red-Necked Wallabies, and Emus can get interspecies enrichment bonuses with each other now!
Wallabies have been a walkabout species since December. Emus still aren't, but that doesn't bother me at all. Every walkaroo kangabout that I've been to has had their emus in a separate, fenced-off yard (if they even have emus). Besides, I've been in petting distance of an emu before, and it was terrifying because they're tall enough to look you in the eye and have no sense of personal space.
Started a new series and I trust my fellow ZooChatters to keep me in line if you see anything that needs to be added! Holding for species, seperate paddocks, if you even see if I forgot to add an airlock or a gate for guests or animals, let me know! I want this to be my most realistic and colorful series yet, and I need all the help I can get All the shoutouts to @Sarus Crane as well for their wonderful walkthrough of ZooMiami to help flesh out so many of these sections and all the more for the future.
Love it!!! Those aviary cable anchors are so impressive. I made Wings of Asia and a sizeable percentage of Miami's Asian area in ZT2 in 2018 but my old computer died and I wasn't able to screen-record it in time. Your builds have inspired me to make my own unique historic neoclassical zoo from the early 1800s. I'm a big American history buff so I can't wait to make it! It'll just take a while because I don't have that much time during the week to work on creative projects. As for Zoo Miami, at some point, I plan on making a promotional video all about why it's the #1 zoo in America!
