Hear hear... I don't get the logic of making Grizzly and Himalayan Brown for the base game, let alone why put both in the game at all?! Very little if any difference between the two from what I've seen so far in game footage. Shame indeed...

I hope by "50 animals" They mean types of animals, sort of like zoo tycoon xbox, where they had multiple lion and elephant subspecies. I little far out but hey, we can dream.

I think they've said 'over 50 animals'. So I'd say the figure of 50 isn't a fixed number (as others have mentioned, does that include the 'exhibit animals' too?) and it would seem odd to have two bears which are so similar if there aren't others as well and there might be multiple bear species/subspecies.

I think the animals look great and although I'm not massively into computer games the more I see of this, the more I'm interested.

The three deluxe edition animals look incredible. Love the Komodo Dragon screenshot!

Indeed. If I'd been skimming I'd have thought the Komodo was real!

Does anyone else feel like the Thomson's gazelle feels like a weird choice for a deluxe animal?

The pygmy hippopotamus looks more blue (as in blue grey) than actual pygmy hippos which seems to be olive colored.

Pretty sure the bear on the right is just a soaking wet Himalayan Brown Bear (or Grizzly Bear) in the shadow of a tree, but it kind of looked like a Black Bear, so I thought I'd mention it.

I thought that at first glance when it came out on twitter and Instagram earlier today but looking closely at it I’m fairly sure it’s a grizzly and they have used that grizzly bear enclosure (sorry, ‘habitat’) in a few other posts.

I probably shouldn’t say this, but on Twitter they’re doing a give away of a deluxe edition of the game

Just found out about this today and am very excited for it! I've already pre-ordered the deluxe edition as it looks phenomenal with its exhibit design tools and building features (one of the things lacking in ZT2). That being said, one of the things that made the ZTs so great to this day is the ability to add User Made Content into the game. This not only expanded the content immeasurably, but also led to many in game improvements as well. I fear without that, this game will still pale in comparison to ZT2 with the radical remake graphics. Yet, I am very hopeful and so far this looks outstanding!

At 45 seconds in that looks like a Red Kangaroo - although it has hooves so maybe not!
