Is anyone else experiencing momentary freezes for a few seconds in game? It seems to happen when you're near a large amount of animals.
Don't know if it's the same thing that you're speaking, but I'm experiencing some tiny glitches too. Something like sudden brights that take very fast to pass.
I've had this problem (and a few others) since launch. 95% of my keepers also do nothing other than walk in circles.
Mine walk around fine but I've never seen food in a food dish. Very confusing when animals are eating and satisfied but nothing is ever in the dish!
This bothers me too. I'm always into realistic zoos, so I build holding areas where the animals should get in to be fed. The dishes I put there are never filled, and keepers spread the food all around the exhibit, wich also disturbs my sceneries. By the way, food in planet zoo could be way better designed in my opinion. I wish we had fruits and meat pieces that had animations and phisic mechanics such as the enrichment items and the animal poop... The way it is right now looks exactly the same as zoo tycoon 2, wich was released 15 years before...
I've never seen food period that I can recall. I agree some of the physical mechanics could be a bit better. Speaking of which, egg-layers ought to lay eggs. ZT2 did it!
I have seen keepers put food in dishes, but only 3 or so (out of my 50+ keepers) actually do anything. The rest just walk up and down a short stretch of path like zombies.
No, with welfare turned off it just that big of a deal for me. I might still though, it's certainly annoying.
I was wondering, what are the most requested animals in the community? I can take every pack they give, because the only thing I care of is having the original ZT2 complete roster, including the terrarium animals and the ambient animals
Same here! Personally, I'd love a Maned Wolf, Black and/or White or even Sumatran Rhinoceros, Ratel, Wolverine, Secretarybird, Binturong, Babirusa, Sloth Bear, Tamandua, Manatee, Kiwi, Tuatara, Tasmanian Devil & Echidna.
I can understand that european animals are not exactly "exoctic", but for a person who lives in australia or asia those are indeed exotic
I'm European (British) myself and I do wish European animals got more recognition in zoo simulation games. I know they're not super stand-outish, but they're still significant. Hence why I was pleased that Planet Zoo picked the Grey Seal, which is very common particular around British waters.
Part of it is many European animals are shared with Asia, Africa, and North America. The Brown Bear slot goes to Grizzly, Moose goes to NA, Greater Flamingo to Africa, etc.
I would personally love spanish lynx, to add a species to my zt2 themed zoo. That I have to start yet
