Unfortunately, the baby is dead. He suffered from a heart defect.

In 2021 the Jungle course will be replaced by two additionnal enclosures for lions and cheetahs with six new lodges. There are already lions and cheetahs in the safari drive through.
A pity as the rhesus macaques enclosure was one of the highlight of the park. I don't know what they will do with the animals.

The male common hippo left the park and was transfered to la Palmyre.
On the contrary, la Palmyre's male hippo arrived.
One of them won the national lotery. The other...

Meaning one is lucky to leave the zoo, the other one is unfortunate

I'm not too familiar with French zoos so it miht take some time for me to understand which zoo is the lower one.

I recommand checking the gallery if you want to have a better idea. Planète sauvage is definitely the better zoo here in my opinion. Look at the hippo exhibit.

@PossumRoach La Palmyre is one of the worst zoo in France so... there is no game.
Rayane posted a photo of the hippo exhibit in Planète Sauvage so you can see a good one.
La Palmyre's one is just a little sandy paddock with some kind of bath. Nothing for hippos !

According to the new park map the macaques are still in the wooden area.
Morevover, a new species replaced the cheetahs in the safari park : maned wolves.

I can't see maned wolves as a good choice for a safari area, do you know why did they take this decision? I have not yet been there.

Arrival of three females maned wolves from Parken Zoo (Sweden). The zoo claims to have the largest maned wolves enclosure in Europe (could be true as this is a drivethrough enclosure in the safari).
Moreover a new species will be added to this enclosure but we don't know more.
