Does anyone know if the lights in the nocturnal sections will still be switched on immediately after the zoo opens?
The answer is yes. At least on my visit last week. The lights were on until about 8.20 In other news, 2 new species since this month are European golden-plover (1.1) & Collared pratincole (10!). Both are kept inside the Pygmy Hippo House. Also interesting to know might be that there's still three striped possums present behind the scenes
