    A positive step in the right direction. Now we need to commit the funding required for pristine and sustainable forest conservation coupled with climate change offset - carbon-reducing facility (funds).

    Great news! the Huon Peninsula is a area with very high number of endemic species. And happily to see a move in the right direction at last, instead of just more and more forest being sold to foreing logging companies. Hopefully other parts of New Guinea of which there has been plans to conseve as protected areas will happen in the up-coming years.
