Early reports from the zoo state that she gave birth to 1 cub but it doesn't look too good. It's smaller than they would have expected but they're keeping their fingers crossed.

Is the situation around the new gorilla paviljon and the Praha troja council being resolved ?

Is there currently antyhing being build (Polar bears/seals, Gorilla's Parrothouse)?

    Malayan Tiger cub didnt survive.

Zoo recently won against Troja municipality that tries to block the gorilla house. Theoretically, construction could start.

Parrot house and its surrounding (future Tasmanian devils pen etc.) is still under construction. Also building of restaurant near Pelikans is underway, with large crane and everything.

Polar bears and pandas are still only in architect´s competition stage I think.

Offspring: one tayra young born, two bongo calves, three Eastern sea eagles, Palawan leopard cat

There will be a second entrance by the Gorilla Paviljon , won't there ? Will there also be a second outlook over the savannah ?

Yes, new zoo entrance is planned there. Also a higher path to view giraffe savannah.

Extremely unrealistic plans; that panda is moving far too much
    :p

Well, I don't care about the Giant Pandas, but in terms of the Golden Monkeys and the Tasmanian Devils - and bearing in mind I will be visiting the collection in question in a little over a week - I think the correct answer is "not soon enough"

    :p

If this is adressed to me, I would love to meet you TLD, even for 5 minutes. But I don't know your exact date of visiting :)

So it looks like the devils and presumably the rest of the Australasian collection will move to where the old aviaries (possibly also the playground?) currently are. Then the pandas, golden monkeys and hopefully other chinese species will go into the current Australasian/Polar bear area, which already includes red panda.

Unanswered questions: what will happen to all those birds? That's obviously one of the most dated areas of the zoo, and redevelopment is inevitable, but let's hope they have a plan for them.

What will happen to the old gorilla house? Another large species of primate? Something completely different?

Finally, the new polar bear enclosures, while an obvious improvement, still look a little on the small side, especially considering that there is I'm sure a lot more space in that area.

Still looks a lot nicer than the majority of polar bear exhibits I have seen..... though nowhere in the league of Highland Wildlife Park or Yorkshire Wildlife Park ;) but Prague certainly doesn't have the space for something of that magnitude!

You'll see for yourself of course but I suspect they do actually. That end of the 'northern loop' is basically empty and I think the land around it that isn't a part of the map is also owned by the zoo.
In any case, it's a little meaningless for us to read too much into what I assume are concept sketches rather than finalised plans :)

Have golden monkeys been confirmed or is it just a species they are hoping to get?

IIRC the zoo signed an agreement with Beijing zoo about the import so I guess it's official (unless an LA-like scenario happens! :p )
