Krasny! ZZ Praha does some amazing captive breeding work with reptiles.

Any chance, they might get (a) new female Cayman blue iguana?

Do you know what is happening with both the Cuban rock and Cayman blue iguanas?
What are the plans for the immediate future with these?

Well, it was more or less in the pudding was it not? Seriously, I did mean breeding plans as FYI the zoo is renowned for its conservation breeding work with rock iguanas from the Caribbean.

They maintain Cuban rock, rhino and Cayman blue iguanas. In fact, the studbook keeper for Cuban ground iguana Cyclura nubila nubila was/is Zoologicka Zahrada Praha. It used to be an EAZA/EEP program but curiously not at the moment ..., which seems strange given that the Cuban rock iguana complex comprises perhaps 2-3 species! At least, Praha Zoo know where they acquired their stock from!

Prague actually no longer keep Cyclura lewisi, their last male died a year or two ago. Believe the species is only represented at Pont-Scorff and Pafos now outside of the Americas...

Prague will hold Chinese pangolins in the new Gorilla House. @xmoose and @Jana wrote this information in The most comprehensive European zoo collections thread.

Tasmanian exhibit was yesterday presented to the media, in an interview, director mentioned that there will be wombats added in future, but no timetable was said.

In other news, the recently born Elephant females will receive names on 21st June.
