In a job ad at the Pittsburgh zoo it mentioned they had a pregnant female. Which narrows it down to Moja, Savannah, and Victoria. Through photographs it would appear that the pregnant one is Moja.

Also, soon to be if not already pregnant elephants in North America include:

    Asian
    -Chendra (19) Portland Zoo
    -Chandra (16) Oklahoma City Zoo

    African
    -Sukiri (19) International conservation center
    -Seeni (19) International conservation center
    -Thandi (21) International conservation center
    -Asali (26) Memphis Zoo
    -Matjeka (21) Lowry Park Zoo
    -Mbali (23) Lowry Park Zoo
-Ndulamitsi (22) San Diego Safari Park
*disclaimer* none of these are definite pregnancies, that's why I listed them as possible. I put this list together through photographic evidence, and implications in zoo press releases.

Is it known by any chance who the father of Lungile's calf is ? If it is Msholo, this is a very good sign of future success

According to the San Diego Zoo, before Lungile left for Tuscon earlier this February, she was not confirmed as pregnant. So they don't know if/when she conceived, so they likely won't know who the father is until the baby is born and they do a DNA test.

Actually, Lungile has not been officially confirmed as pregnant, Gina miscarried her calf, and Ivory has recently delivered hers.

Christie at the Hogle zoo was AI'd a few months ago and the specialists believe there was a 90% chance she conceived. Not only that, but that she conceived TWINS. Three months to go until we get a definite answer on that.

Swazi at the San Diego Safari Park is due any day now!

Lowry Park seems to be expecting a calf, as they continually side step the question with "We will let you know if and when a calf is born."

Memphis is currently breeding cows Asali and Gina with AI no word on the success.

DAK cow Moyo is probably expecting a calf in 2013

ICC cows Sukiri, Thandi, and Seeni have all been put in with prolific bull, Jackson.

Interesting the Pittsburgh, Lowry Park, and Indianapolis have females on the list. Makes sense for Callee, Ajani, and Tamani to be pushed out at the ages they were.

Isn't Jackson currently over represented in the SSP?

I'm doubt Matjeka and Mbali are pregnant at Lowry Park, though I do hope they will be soon. They've been there since 2004?, and there's been no progress on pregnancies yet.

He is just as over-represented as Mabhulane is. I think the Pittsburgh zoo feels it is important to get as many calves on the ground as possible. As well as to breed the Botswana cows while the red tape is cleared in importing the genetic material from South Africa. Jackson also produceds predominantly female offspring.

    Jackson: 10
    Mabhulane: 9
    Sdudla: 1
    Maclean: 3
    Bulwagi: 3
    Ali: 2
    Willie: 3
    unknown: 2
    Wild sire: 1
