If you could create your own private zoo, what species would you keep and where would you get them from? I will post mine soon.

    I would keep:
    - a series of aviaries for various turacos, exotic pigeons/doves, mousebirds, hornbills, and whatever rarities I could get my hands on.
    - any rare or exotic hoofstock I could acquire, including but not limited to African antelope species, caprids, camels, zebra, etc.
    - various reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates common in the private trade, including a breeding pair of woma python (my dream pet snake).

    I agree. Here's mine:
    • I would keep a large aviary for macaws.
    • Smaller aviaries for anything I could get my hands on as well.
    • A setup similar to The Wilds where large hoofstock from all over the world could roam around.
    • Several interior reptile rooms in which I would breed several species of snakes and lizards.
    • A small mammal room for things like chinchillas, hedgehogs, mice, etc.
    • A small outdoor dome for imported butterflies.
    • An outdoor exhibit for kangaroos (pretty common in the exotic pet trade)
