When I go to the homepage, the new posts section mentions my game as having 268 replies but it have 262 replies. Is anything with my computer or it's is the right amount. It left me confused and starching my head.
you should never starch your head. It causes no end of trouble. It may be that deleted posts have been stored in the "number of posts" so it gives a higher number than now exist.
Don't get overly concerned about post counts not adding up - the forum software doesn't automatically update all posts counts immediately to minimise the load on the server. Some of these counts are updated once per day, others once per week. Also, as mentioned by Chlidonias, things such as deleted posts and other forum oddities can lead to a mismatch in post counts occasionally. We do have some maintenance routines we can run occasionally to help clean these things up - but I rarely run them (they put an enormous load on the server when we do). Don't worry about it.
