There is a nice profile of retiring small mammal keeper David Kessler at the Smithsonian National Zoo. Several animals make appearances in the article including naked mole rats, howler monkeys, and red-ruffed lemurs. Zoo keepers really are extraordinary people and they don't get appreciated enough.
