A puma from the wild north may have wandered into suburban Milwaukee. Or it may be peoples imagination and does not exist. Or it may be an African lion that someone had as a pet and let loose. Or it may be peoples imagination and does not exist. Mysterious big cat eludes capture and easy explanation in Milwaukee
Living in Milwaukee, I personally believe that it is either a cougar, or a female lion that was/is some idiot's pet and it got out. Nobody is going to own up to having an exotic pet in the city so it'll roam the area until 1 of 3 things happens. 1- It dies because being a pet, it probably doesn't know how to hunt. 2- It somehow finds it's owner and nobody ever hears of it again. 3- The police find it, try to tranquilize it, agitate it, and then shoot it 22 times killing it dead. I suppose there is a very, very, VERY slim chance that a wild cougar has moved into the area, but the fact that all of the sightings are occurring within a very small area of the city make me believe that a wild animal would move on, or not even come that far into the city in the first place. Anyway. it's just my view on the subject but what's really to come? The future will tell...
