Bristol Zoo (Closed) Pygmy hippos

    Can anyone tell me what happened to the old female pygmy hippo at the zoo, i believe she was unwell and now they have a new one

    I don't know the circumstances regarding the old female, but the new one is called Taiamia and arrived a few months ago from Marwell.

    I am Not sure as to why but the old female died earlier this year.

    The new female is actually called Sirana, but did arrive from marwell and is their calf from 2 years ago.
