This ties into my Washington trip (Sorry for the delay on the review but I was preparing for summer finals and such). But anyways, what is the current status of the subspecies in the region? I think the subspecies is called Columbia basin Pygmy rabbit but I’m not 100% sure as I just learned about the subspecies a few days ago. I ask because I saw a rabbit that is very similar looking to the subspecies near Woodland Park zoo in the rose garden. I could be wrong on my identification but it looks exactly the same to what I saw. I don’t have any pictures unfortunately as the rabbit was very fast and quick moving. Could I have saw the subspecies or not?
