Well at least he is getting out and about, though I thought North Korea has ceased any communication with any other country??,

Then again we do send several million to then each year from AusAid

Here is one for the true zoo enthusiast, a video taken at Pyongyang zoo the national zoo of North Korea.
Any information from this most secretive of countries is hard to obtain so i thought it would be worthwhile to post this video.
I will let you make up your minds on the place, but one thing to look out for is how spotlessly clean the zoo is, a few western collections could take points.

Well I'm sure we'd have spotless zoos if we were all brain-washed slaves of police states.

Thank you for sharing this nonetheless, it is interesting to see and I note that there appears to be no sign of giant pandas despite occasionally hearing mention of them.

You can always click on the "YouTube" logo on an embedded video to be taken to the source on YouTube

I have the same issue (and I know a lot of other users do too - hence people putting a second post saying ''quoted for link" after posting a Youtube video). Youtube links just don't show up - until someone quotes the post, then a text link appears in the quote box.

This is how kiang's post shows up to me:

Ahh ... thanks - I wasn't aware of the issue.

I'll have a look into it.

Do you guys have Flash disabled or something?

I logged in from another browser and had no problems seeing the embedded YouTube video with either a regular user or a guest - so it's not a forum permissions problem like I thought it might be.

Flash enabled and up-to-date. It's also been the same across two home laptops and also my *ahem* work PC, all on different versions of Windows (XP, Vista, 7).

Right - think I have a lead - video doesn't show up in Internet Explorer but it does in Chrome. So it appears to be browser-specific.

Ahh - yes, I tested in Chrome and Firefox, but not in IE ... you are right, it's not showing up for me either.

I'll look into it - thanks for the lead.
