Hello everyone, I'm new here and was hoping you all could share some information with me. Right now I live in the US but I am planning to move to Norway and become a zookeeper there. I was wondering if the requirements of becoming a keeper there are different from the US, as I know some countries (For example Germany) require special courses and not just generic college classes to become a zookeeper. Thanks in advance for the help.
I don't know in particular for Norway but I would say in general for Europe if you have experience you will eventually get something as long as you keep applying to every zoo and put as less limits as possible. Having knowledge of the language in the country will definitely be a big plus. Hopefully someone else can give you much more info
