Dear members, During a recent study of the wild presence of Iguana iguana in Thailand and Singapore we noticed that green iguanas are being exhibited in ways that don't prevent their escape. Link to a free copy of the preprint manuscript: https://www.researchgate.net/public...tated_by_the_pet_trade_and_recreational_parks I was wondering whether there are guidelines when it comes to exhibiting iguanas, if not, perhaps guidelines for any lizard species? Also, I would like to ask for opinions about exhibition practices for this species, especially from people working with this species in tropical countries (given it is warm enough to keep them outside). How would you keep the species if you want their outside exhibition to be as natural and open as possible? Likely I will have more questions after some answers so I will keep it at this for now. Thank you in advance for your time. Best, Thijs
While I’m not very knowledgeable about keeping green iguanas in captivity Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary has an absolutely fantastic Iguana enclosure, by far the best I have ever seen Here’s a photo: Green Iguana Enclosure - ZooChat
